Airborne Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 (edited) Many users have complained about the Sandboxie nag panel that pops up every shutdown or once every 12-24 hours. It is annoying, I find it so myself. Nagware is intended to persuade you to do something, either upgrade from Free to Paid or simply buy something. Call it Adware. The subject has been discussed on several Forum`s. Whether a program is Freeware, Shareware or Paid is completely irrelevant to the issue - it is still a nag panel. There are tweaks listed on the net if you search, but I don`t trust them. I would not wish the insertion of a piece of unknown software to possibly affect my PC or the function of Sandboxie. Many free programs have occasional nagware, I have even had it on IE. I have a perfect solution for removing the Sandboxie nag panel which is even supported by Tzuk himself. It is simple - what you do when the panel comes up is wait 5 seconds, then click it. The panel goes away until the next shutdown or 12-24 hours - perfect ! Or alternatively buy the program for a few dollars. Edited October 26, 2011 by Airborne Quote UTRINQUE PARATUS - AD UNUM OMNES
