Quovadis Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Hi folks , Have the above laptop but cannot access the wireless router ? Try at work and it see's the router and says its connected , but when I browse no connection? Took it home , plug it into home router Brilliant , disconnect and try to connect , it see,s the router again and asks me for my key , put key in ( which is printed on the side of router that I am sitting next to ) and it says that its incorrect and requires either a 5 or 13 digit key ? Took it back to work today and searched the net and done various tests and CMD commands but no go again says I am connected but no go ? I note that when I press the internet button ( top left under screen) it comes up green " no wireless device " ..............Mmm I am not sure where to go from here ...any suggestions most welcome .. Obviously I am using another computer to post this so it may be difficult to get any info uploaded from the acer regards Quote

Start > type in ......devmgmt.msc ......ENTER Click the + next to network adapters What is listed? Are there any yellow exclamation marks or red Xs ?
