Guest m4r Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 I have a SBS running as a domain controllor, a windows server 2003r2 as a TS box, and 5 users loggin in and running apps through ts. 4 of my users can log in and out no problems, 1 user when he logs out from a ts session his system hangs, and everytime time you need to reset his session on the server. his system works fine for everything else. All users are in the same groups and all users are accessing the same files. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks -- ------------------------------ Stuart Pope ------------------------------
Guest Luis Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Re: Not loggin out Hi there, Some ideas for troubleshooting: Test other user in the machine to see if it happens the same. If so, first you can try is to reset the machine's account in AD or the other way is putting the machine out of the domain, delete the account in AD, put it back again. Take a look as well into the events of both client and server in order to find anything that can be useful, look for TermSrv events and possible code errors in logging out process so we can focus on the problem. Maybe is a profile-related problem, stranger things I've seen with profiles, start-\\right clic mycomputer-\\properties-\\Advanced-\\User Profiles-\\copy the profile-\\delete it. User must install the apps, this is a direct fast and clean way. Good Luck!, Luis.
