rebecca Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 hey everyone i realy hope someone can help me please. I have a windows vista basic, and when i want to go onto the internet i use mozilla firefox which takes me to yahoo home page. Yesterday i turned on was prompted to do a scan(not sure if thats relevant) then when i went on internet as usualy there is an inch strip across the screen that my curser wont work on, half in the tool bar, half under the tool bar including the up arrow onthe side. I dont think its the actualy comp as when i go on normal int explora which takes me to google home page the whole screen works but i realy now nothing so im probs wrong about that. Ihope this makes sense and someone can help me please, please, please and thanks Quote
Plastic Nev Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Hi and welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help Rebecca, If it works OK with no problems on Internet explorer, then yes the computer looks to be OK, It is obviously a fault with Firefox. The simplest way round to try first is uninstall Firefox, then go to the Mozilla site and download and install the latest version of Firefox, see if that corrects the problem. Nev.
