Help me plan this domain!

I got a customer with a central office and 30 branch offices. Those

offices have from 1 to 20 users. The branch offices are connected to

the central one using frame relay lines, some with 128K and some (the

bigger ones) with 256K. They use some windows servers and some Unix

Servers. All the servers are located in the central office basically

to host web or dump terminal applications. They tell me that so far

they are happy with the speed response from the network.

They are asking me to install a couple of domain controllers in the

central office in order to implement a domain for the entire

organization. The only domain features they are looking are central

control of the user accounts and policies and using remote desktop to

provide support on the users computers.

Is the speed of the frame relays enough to support the intended domain

features?

Hello Artificer,

The minimum you should have for Active directory is a 500 kb connection.
