file transfer

Hello,

 

We just switch from PC Anywhere to Terminal Server.

Everything is ok except file transfer speed.

 

Can I have 3rd party software to increase transfer speed except FTP?

just look like hard disk to hard disk.

Are you trying to transfer file between ts client and ts server? How long

does it take?

Hello Rong,

 

I use local XP pro remote desktop connect to terminal server.

I copy 100MB files from XP pro to server, about 35 sec.

 

Then

 

I use local XP pro PC Anywhere connect to terminal server.

I transfer same file from XP pro to server, about 25 sec.

 

Both computers are in same 16-port switch, not thru internet, for testing

only.

 

We have 4 outside sales, they are using PC Anywhere connect to our company.

If we switch to Terminal Server then we don't need 4 PC anywhere host

computers.

 

We have to transfer sample design to our customer.

We can use FTP, but all of our samples design in defferent drivers,

different folders.
