Losing cursor when bringing up Google

Recently I’ve noticed when I bring up Google I lose my cursor. I have to

move my mouse to the query line and click on it to get the cursor back and

enter a query, which is something new. Has anyone else noticed this, and if

so were they able to get around the extra mouse click?

When bringing up Google, do not move mouse and cursor will remain.

Whether I move the mouse or not, the cursor does not appear.
