Guest Tom P. Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Last year we upgraded a windows 2000 server to Windows Server 2003 R2 with SP2. We noticed recently, while trying to install Symantec Endpoint Protection 11, that IIS Admin and WWW Publishing services were not running. Attempting to run the services gave an error which amounted to missing files. I attempted an uninstall via Windows Components but when it asks for the Service Pack 2 disk it then says it can't find the needed files even though they are right there. I've tried every Windows Server R2 w/SP2 we have, I even downloaded the SP2 files extracted them and tried to no avail. The IIS Admin and WWW Publishing now no longer show up in the services. I've researched quite alot and still have no answers. I would greatly appreciate any help and suggestions for getting this fixed that you may have. SEP 11 will not install unless we can get this problem resolved. Many Thanks In Advance
