Another Backup Question

Hi everybody,

I am thinking about ServerBackup in Server2008 again.

 

Since I have problems with my Promise RAID controller, I would like to

switch to an LSI.

 

All these controllers need special drivers to works with Windows.

ServerBackup2008 provides the opportunity to install drivers during the

restore process. Does anybody know if these drivers are integrated in the OS

to be recovered?

 

If not, I would have to instal the drivers first (before backing up) or else

I could restore the system but it would not boot because it does not find

the HD, right?

 

Or are there any other ways to swich from one RAID controller to another?
