Guest Gary S. Terhune Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Re: "Half Water Half Gas" I asked because there is a specific type of newsgroup troll who's pastime it is to introduce OT topics into the groups, and then, when it looks like that OT topic is wearing out, pulls a quick one and *changes* the OT thread to yet another OT topic, which is what you just did. Think about it. Do you really want to get labeled a Troll? It's a label that sticks and causes most serious participants of NGs to ignore or even block you. Which I'm seriously considering in your case. Then the only people who respond to your posts are those who generally prefer engaging in OT stuff because they really don't know much about Windows. What kind of response do you think you'll get to a real Windows question that you might have in the future from such people? -- Gary S. Guest AlmostBob Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Re: "Half Water Half Gas" from an engineering standpoint BOGUS the elctrolysis of water is not 100% efficient, the best catalysts provide ~85% efficiency. Why burn hydrocarbons in a ~40% efficient engine, to produce electricity in an ~85% efficent alternator the electrolyse water in an 85% efficient cell 40% * 85% * 85% = 28.9% efficent to generate hydrogen in a motor vehicle has to increase engine output by 245% (1/28.9%) of the energy output of the generated hydrogen generated to break even thats 15 mpg to somewhere in the range of 50mpg I am not wearing my calculator hat From a solar panel this miniscule efficiency, is acceptible, its raining soup, all the energy recovered is in essentially free once the panel is in place. If the process of adding hydrogen to the fuel mix is good, produce the hydrogen renewably, from a solar panel, wind generator, and put it in a cylinder -- Adaware http://www.lavasoft.de spybot http://www.safer-networking.org AVG free antivirus http://www.grisoft.com Etrust/Vet/CA.online Antivirus scan http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/virusinfo/scan.aspx Panda online AntiVirus scan http://www.pandasoftware.com/ActiveScan/ Catalog of removal tools (1) http://www.pandasoftware.com/download/utilities/ Catalog of removal tools (2) http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/newsinfo/collateral.aspx?CID=40387 Blocking Unwanted Parasites with a Hosts file http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm links provided as a courtesy, read all instructions on the pages before use Grateful thanks to the authors and webmasters _ "Jeff T." <jeftho@nospam.invalid> wrote in message news:OOp5w$Z9IHA.1428@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > This has nothing to do with windows XP but I was just wondering if this > thing works, Half Water Half Gas. > Can anybody help me????? > Jeff >

The truckin companies that buy/lease the HFI units would be the best source of real-world data. Presumably HFI would not stay in business long if the technology did not save the truckers money. There are many discussions about HHO and hydrogen injection on the web. This MS forum is probably not the place for it. Bye for now ;)

If I changed the thread, I didn't mean to, but I was thinking " boy what have I got started". I won't ask anymore non-computer questions. Once in a while I do have a legitamate computer question,I would hate not to be able to get answers from you techs. Again, I'm sorry! I learned my lesson, Jeff "Gary S.
