For what Operating System was this game written (MS-DOS or Win3.1?) How did you first instal it on your Win98 PC and did you try reinstalling it? What does the game require as AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS settings? How did you implement these under Win98 (e.g. via AUTOEXEC.DOS or otherwise) ? -- Don Phillipson Carlsbad Springs (Ottawa, Canada)
Guest Jeff Richards Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Re: My game is not working!!!!! The message is telling you that your video card does not have the advanced features that the game requires. Unless you have recently changed the card, then this is probably because the correct driver for the card is not installed. Look in device manager and see what name is used for the description of the video adapter. If it's a generic name then Windows has installed a default driver, and this will not have the features your game requires. Download and install the correct driver for your video adapter card. Then re-install DirectX. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Browse.aspx?displaylang=en&categoryid=2# -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "Justin" <Justin@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4B42AF61-57CA-4E11-8EE9-21CC94157BCB@microsoft.com... > Ok so I have a game called "Re-Volt"!!
