Windows Task Switcher

Recently the most recent app used goes to the end of the Task Switcher

(ALT+TAB) window on my screen instead of the #1 or #2 position. I either

have to use ALT+SHIFT+TAB to get to it, or ALT+TAB through all the running

apps to get to the last one.

Is this correctable?

Thanks.

Tasks are arranged in the Task Switcher in the order in which you

launch them. Reboot your PC, then relaunch your tasks.

Re: Windows Task Switcher

Pegasus,

Thanks for your response.

Once they applications are launched, it's been my experience that the most

recently used one goes to the head of the list. So if I've used the

applications that were launched 4th and 7th, but used them last, they would

be in position 1 and 2 on the task switcher. I've been switching back and

forth between applications like this in different Windows versions for years.

Now I have applications that take the last place in the list just because

I've used them last.

Has a service pack or patch altered the behavior of this feature? Is there

a registry key that might have been corrupted?

Thanks, again.
