Ad-aware 2008 manual definitions file update (XP)

Had great trouble connecting to the lavasoft downloads web site today..

Managed to download the latested definitions (0108) from majorgeeks.com

After extracting and putting core.awwdef into c:\Program

Files\lavasoft\Adaware as instructed on their web site for manual download

loads Ad-aware didn't pick up the latest definitions file (in fact there

wasn't an old one in their either !!!).....

Looks like its duff gen on their site as to where to put the definitions

files...it actually goes to

c:\Documents and setting\All users\Application Data\lavasoft\ad-aware\

Update now picked up ok. (Windows xp home by the way)

As I'm on the free version of ad-aware they make it impossible for me to

communicate with them from their web site at all !!

So I though I'd post the info here instead..sorry!

Just tried the manual method, Nothing happened. Guess the site has problems
