Outlook ignores rules

Outlook 2000 is ignoring some of my rules. Please note, many of my

rules do in fact work. There are however a handful that simply will

not do what I tell them to do.

For example, I have a rule setup to look in the message header for "X-

Sender: laxminivasmittal@gmail.com" (no quotes) - I'm simply cutting &

pasting from a real received email whose spam I'm trying to delete.

It processes my inbox, but never finds a match even though it is

without question in there. I've also tried looking for the From: line

as a match on the sender. No go.

Any solutions?

Thank you in advance

You should post this in an Outlook newsgroup where you'll get the attention

of the Outlook experts.

Here's a solution: Ask in a group with OUTLOOK in the title. Notice

this group lacks that title.

Ask elsewhere
