HoKay, I corrected the missing Display, the missing mouse.... but

somehow I thought that the Windows Help directory would reappear.

Sigh,

Molly

Unfortunately, yes. Gosh, some of you people know this program inside

out, or are sitting there with a tech manual, or both.

But in this case I came up blank. It is enabled. Most of the

problems I have had have come about from using tweakui... and come to

think of it, wonder if there is a setting in there, and deleting

double folders at 3AM. A verryy bad idea.

Thanks for the try,

Molly

Nah, we're all males, ages nine to sixteen. It's a guy thing.

I recall a story about a single woman living in a New York apartment. She

made friends with a single guy on another floor and whenever she had a

repair job around the house, she'd trade him a home-cooked meal for a fix.

The mental conversations went like this:

She: "He's a miracle worker. He puts up a towel rack so it won't fall down

and all I have to do is throw a couple of extra potatoes in the pot!"

He: "She's a miracle worker. I get a wonderful rack-of-lamb dinner in

exchange for a couple of thirty-five cent bolts!"

Then they had sex.

Bet you actually think that is funny. Wish you could reverse places

and know how years of groping comments and hands can wear you down.

Sounds funny now but it wouldn't after awhile. Just gets nauseatingly

dull, and sad.

Really? I was a 50-year-old woman last time I checked. I know a hell of

a lot more about computers than I do about cooking and I don't consider

knowledge of *any* subject a "guy thing" (or "girl thing", for that

matter).

Sad to see the old stereotypes are still around.
