Laptops have a function that transforms a section of the keyboard (generally on the right side) into a number pad. It's controlled (usually) by a combination of a special "function" key and one of the F keys at the top of the keyboard. Look in the manual that came with the computer. It's often supplied as a PDF that you can access from a shortcut on your desktop. -- Tim Slattery MS MVP(Shell/User) Slattery_T@bls.gov http://members.cox.net/slatteryt
