Guest yairinbal@yahoo.com Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Hello, I am looking for a way to record and play RDP sessions. I wonder of someone knows methods of rendering RDP protocol stream into the screen. For example, in Vista Microsoft provides the RDPViewer COM Object (used by Windows Desktop Sharing API) which renders RDP into the screen, however it requires actual TCP connection to the server and it does not accepts RDP packet streams. I know that there are some products that do so (like RecordTS), but I wonder if a simple functionality can be provided by Microsoft SDKs. Regards, momo

Guest Jeff Pitsch Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Re: Playing RDP packet streams Are you the develop or work for the company Daniel? I had never heard of the product before and it sounds pretty good. There are no SDKs or other publicly available developer tools for this. But feel free to contact me directly if you're interested in this functionality. There is a good change that we'll release an SDK soon. -- Sincerely, Eugene Sukhodolin CTO, TSFactory Inc. http://www.tsfactory.com
Guest Daniel Petri Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Re: Playing RDP packet streams Hi Jeff, Sorry for not writing with my Connect profile, I was on a different computer. Sure, I have offered an NFR license for MVPs, and I would be more than happy to get you one. Just contact me (manual editing of this address is required): danielp at observeit-sys dot com, or through my website.
