Recently I reinstalled MS XP after the computer was in a position where it

didn't allow me to do anything (crash). After reinstallation I am not able to

access the Internet. Anny Suggestions?

Have you installed the Network drivers for your network card or "on the

motherboard" network chip?

Usually, this happens when one installs XP on a system, but does not also

install the motherboard chipset drivers. These are essential to getting

key components, such as network or audio, to actually work.

 

Look for a CD that came with your system, or look at the manufacturer's

website.

Also, if you are using a USB connected modem internet connection, you will

have to run your ISP's(internet service provider) software again, from their

CD.
