Guest Bruce D Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Hello all, I have a somewhat odd problem. The TS is a 6 month old 2003 R2 svr with plenty of RAM and drive space, and is a replacement for an older TS (which did not have this problem). So, here goes: When a client prints to an HP Officejet All-in-one 4110, I can see the job spool to the TS queue, then to the local queue, and then disappear from both queues as if it had printed. AND, the local printer starts to react; it warms up and moves the carriage back and forth several times. And then it's done. It does not pick up a piece of paper, and it does not print - but the event log says it was a successful print job. (Yes, the printers work when used locally.) Now, I realize that the driver for this particular printer is not on HP's list of TS compatible drivers. However, the old TS (SBS 2003) did not have this issue; all of the local printers were able to print, no problem. I am using the same driver on the new TS as the old one; as a matter of fact, I pulled it over with Point-n-Print. Any ideas how to get these remote printers printing remotely? Thanks in advance, -Bruce D
Guest Jeff Pitsch Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Re: Incomplete printing on HP via TS This may be an updated driver from what you had before and that's causing the compatibility issues. Find a compatible driver and remap it or try the fallback drivers and see if they work any better -- Jeff Pitsch Microsoft MVP - Terminal Services "Bruce D" <BruceD@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:25A78D84-9761-434E-9675-89F1F4E75902@microsoft.com... > Hello all, > > I have a somewhat odd problem.
