KenB Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Hi, 76 deg C whilst working hard does not see over hot ( in my opinion ). What is the idling temperature - when you are not pushing the card ? You could try taking the side cover off the case and see if that makes a significant difference. Check all case fans and make sure they are working and also check the Card fan to see if that is rotating. The temp does seem OK for a Video Card that is working hard. Aldaz108 Posted November 19, 2011 Author Posted November 19, 2011 Ok but can I ask 1 more question about this my computer goes from being a nice smooth little thing to a noisy *****? this only happens when it is running a high end game? and btw it also sometimes makes a burning smell well not strong burning smell its like a strange odour is this normal for new parts such as PSU and grapcis card ? and more ram? You should not be getting a burning smell - something is over-heating. Download speccy from here: http://www.piriform.com/speccy Install and run it. When the results show ......ALT + PrtSc will copy. Paste into Paint > Save as a .jpg > attach this to your next post. We still need to know what Wattage your PSU is.
