Hi,

76 deg C whilst working hard does not see over hot ( in my opinion ).

What is the idling temperature - when you are not pushing the card ?

You could try taking the side cover off the case and see if that makes a significant difference.

Check all case fans and make sure they are working and also check the Card fan to see if that is rotating.

The temp does seem OK for a Video Card that is working hard.

I just thought i should add - this is very normal i have a ATI HD radeon 5770 and i can tell you this very normal mine takes a few mins when i start playing high end games to reach temperatures similar to the one you have - take a look the cards specs on the offical cards page and scrool to the bottom it will tell you there what temperature it can reach with in safe limit http://www.nvidia.com/object/product-geforce-gtx-560ti-gtx-550ti-us.html , and you other components in the computer have their own cooling example; CPU has its own cooler

Ok but can I ask 1 more question about this my computer goes from being a nice smooth little thing to a noisy *****? this only happens when it is running a high end game?

and btw it also sometimes makes a burning smell well not strong burning smell its like a strange odour is this normal for new parts such as PSU and grapcis card ? and more ram?

If you take a look at it there should be a label with the information on it.

You should not be getting a burning smell - something is over-heating.

Download speccy from here:

http://www.piriform.com/speccy

Install and run it.

When the results show ......ALT + PrtSc will copy.

Paste into Paint > Save as a .jpg > attach this to your next post.

We still need to know what Wattage your PSU is.
