Guest Bloofin Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 Every time I start my Dell computer with Windows XP I get the following message: Error Loading C:\windows\system32\ueeoqwm.dll The specific module cound not be found. This has been going on for about a month and I have not seen any problems until yesterday when I tried to load a new printer and I kept getting a runtime error that also addressed system32 -- Bloofin

It means that your anti-virus software is working. The file this message refers to is almost certainly malware, and your A/V software caught and removed it. It just didn't remove the reference that launched it. So, go to Start, Run, type msconfig and press Enter. Find the reference to that DLL, and then go there via Regedit and delete it; it's possible it is also in the Startup folder. HTH -pk
