Guest Dan Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 I have worked with many others in the industry and can confidently say that DNS Pollution will not hurt Windows 98 Second Edition. I can go into further details later if anyone even cares. Have a nice weekend.

Guest Dan Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Re: A Story about 3 computers and how they changed my Life Re: A Story about 3 computers and how they changed my Life (Warning: Personnel Story and Feel Free to Ignore if you don't care) Well, all of you know by now how the APS (Albuquerque Public School) Network was hacked in the summer of 2007. The problem was that the school just used the default settings and Chris Quirke, MVP talks about how stupid it is to just use the default settings. Stephanie Homan, the network administrator has mentioned how former employees were bitter at the school and locked down many of the computers at Painted Sky Elementary before I arrived there on September 1, 2006. Stephanie is a great lady and we worked hard as a team to get the computers up and running again. My job was a first grade educational assistant and I helped out with the computers when I had extra time because computers are my hobby. I worked at APS from September 1, 2006 until October 2007 and had a panic attack in August of 2007 because the then assistant principal Miss Misti Miller accused me verbally of computer sabotage. I had been working 10 hour days and volunteering my time as a good Samaritan because I just wanted the network to operate properly again. I had noticed earlier at the start of the 2007-2008 school year how someone was manipulating the work I did on the 2 computers and somehow changing the administrator passwords that I set up on the computers that I was working on. Whoever did this effectively locked me out of fixing the computers that I was working on. I guess it was stupid I did not set up another administrator password account but I did not know the need. Stupidly, I did not even have just a standard user account either because I did not know someone would remotely and/or from Painted Sky Elementary during the summer of 2007 hack the network between the months of May 2007-October 2007. All of the computers were set to remote access which Chris Quirke wisely has pointed out is an easy way to hack into computer systems that are not properly locked down. I had realized this last year and requested that my Windows 98 Second Edition Machine be saved but it was not of course and sent off somewhere. I ended up with using an old Windows ME <yuk> machine that apparently had a hardware power problem because it would not shut down and I had to pull the plug to stop it. I was running late that day of the panic attack and signed in about 10-20 minutes late at the office and had had too high a dose of my thyroid medicine because I could not find the proper dose and knew if I did not have any I would be so tired at the end of the day that I would barely be able to safely drive home. In addition, the USB Printer Cable that I used last year did not work properly so that morning when I logged into the Windows XP computer, it gave an error message. Someone did indeed target me because the Ethernet Cable had been removed from the sub station networking room and this room was locked with only the Principal Dr. Woodard having a key and limiting access. She was a really nice and efficient lady and gave me all top scores of 4 on my May 2007 evaluation with a 4+ on my help with the computers. Terese Sedillo and Claire Ortiz were all wise to the game that was played at Painted Sky Elementary and all got transferred and Elizabeth Smith left to teach elsewhere. Elisabeth changed from a substitute teacher to an educational assistant like I used to be. This scenario did indeed happen and feel free to call me a liar if you want because I just don't give a flying f__k anymore. The first year was so tiring on my body working with the kids and computers. It was really tiring but I had lots of fun and would not trade it for the world. I was moved in with Stephanie Williams who was a teacher I specifically did not want to work with because she had caused so much pain and suffering to Elizabeth Smith. I had requested by email during the summer to work with Tamarra Rankin because I knew I would work well with her and the email to Miss Misti Miller was ignored. It could have been to Dr. Pat Woodard but I don't think so. Anyway, Terese and Elizabeth are both married and have their husband's names. They are good Catholics. Their dad is Frank Ortiz who is a member of the United States Justice Department and a really good and kind man. I have no way to prove this story and it is just my word against Miss Misti Miller's word. What I am telling is the truth and no more lies because they have gotten me into too much trouble in the past as pretending to be Art Wilder when posting in Tucson Arizona did on his computer. Anyway, I got permission from Ken Cole, the Director of Technology to access the APS Intranet via VPN (Virtual Private Networking). Now I admit, I am a stupid idiot when it comes to networking and I if I had been smarter I would never have asked for this kind of responsibility, but I have learned my lesson well and will never again ask for VPN Access, because I don't want to be falsely accused for something I did not commit. Anyway, my APS email was hacked into apparently through 128 bit RC4 (Release Candidate 4) encryption which I thought was impossible. It may be that when I changed my password over the phone with the Help Desk at APS then that person fraudulently accessed my account. I lost access to all my other email accounts as well from Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail but have kept them since they have been restored to me because I am a stubborn idiot who will not give up to bad people. I had the whole network up and running with Stephanie Homan's help, by the end of the school year at Painted Sky Elementary in May of 2007. The problems began for me at least during the summer. Apparently, Miss Misti Miller was rude to other people before me and continues to be rude to employees at the school. Terese Sedillo who now works at Ventanna Ranch Elementary will back me up along with her sister Claire Ortiz who works at Ventanna Ranch Elementary as well. During the summer, I worked at a camp called Camp Stoney as a camp counselor and it is a Christian camp in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Daniel Cave, a great man of God is the Director and he will back me up. Esther Marie is the overall Director of the camp and I know she will back me up. Finally, Gloria who is the computer educational assistant at Painted Sky Elementary will back me up as well. I am just posting this publically because I know I am a desperate man with no where to turn to help. Finally, APS got Bob Casey their lawyer on me who accused me of all sorts of things and I just withdrew because I do not believe in fighting things in courts. I believe in the power of the public arena. (By the Way, I did indeed work for Davis Monthan in November 1998- Middle of 2001 and fortunately got out of there before 9-11-2001) I worked under at least 2 flight chiefs who were great and then ran into one who hated my guts for some reason. Anyway, I never did work with computers on Davis Monthan and if I said otherwise then I lied and I was never a good liar anyway and I know liars go to H_ll so I guess I will be going there for my sin.) Guest Dan Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Re: Windows 98 Second Edition not affected by DNS Pollution Okay, Micky. BTW, I always preferred Donald Duck but that is just me. Anyway, please check the box to notify you of any script errors in Internet Explorer. I have now even run across script errors not only within just plain old http but even https: which is supposedly secure and safe but if you use Dan K's method then it will allow you to overcome website with script errors and targeting those script errors you can inject poison into the websites and thus steal people's data and information as it is put into the web site. It is just as simple as that with some more variables but that should give you micky and PCR a good starting point in how it is done. Dan W. -- Over and Out --- Living in a DreamLand(World) or should I say within the Clouds of so-called problematic "cloud computing" BTW, Micky Mouse, I always did prefer the sky. What about you sky, sun or earth? Thanks in advance and have a great week.
