Guest brett Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 I have checked the MS site and it performs the usual inspection of my Win XP for updates, then shows that I should download SP3 and indicates that I cannot get any more updates until SP3 is installed. Is this correct please? I am not too enthusiastic about installing SP3 in case it gives my desktop indigestion, although I have a MS CD of SP3 standing by! Advice would be helpful please. brett
