Toolbar Calendar's

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I currently have the Google toolbar installed, which includes a calendar

button, which I use frequently. Due to some conflicts I have to remove my

Google toolbar, and wondered if anyone new of a different or alternative

toolbar calendar.

Thank you

Alias Hi,

I've had a look at your recommendation, and it seems to be similar to an

Outlook Calendar. The one I have in my Google toolbar, is just dates, similar

to a calendar you hang on the wool. I don't want to enter anything in the

calendar, just know what days of the week certain dates are, etc

Thanks

Hover the mouse cursor on then Right-click on the _time_ found at the

bottom right corner. A menu pops up. Then click on Adjust Date/Time.

Stephen Hi,

Thanks for your reply, I am not looking to adjust the PC time or date

settings.

I am trying to find a calendar similar to those on airline or holiday

booking sites, where you click on an icon for a calendar, which shows days

and dates.

I dont want to enter anything in the calendar, I just want to look to see

what day of the week say the 15th November might be, and to calculate four

weeks from 27th October.

The one in the google toolbar is refered to as "The Official Google Calendar

Gadget" I cant use this one due to conflicts, but are looking for something

similar

Thanks

Re: Toolbar Calendar's

Double click the date and look at the calendar, you don't HAVE to adjust

the time or date, just pick Cancel to close the dialog box/application

In Windows there is usually more than one way to do something.

My method of right-click and the method of Bob I, of double-clicking

do the same thing.

However, I just tried Gord Tibben's TClockex and it is easy to see.

After installed, it shows the day and date and time, and then

a single click on date and time display shows his calendar.

His calendar is better because it shows

Saturday and Sunday in red, and you can drag the

calendar (with the mouse) so that it can be relocated on the screen.

Double-clicking TClockex copies the date so that you can

paste it into another document, like I just did above.

I like it because the Windows clock display used to sink down.

Gord Hi,

Just wanted to say thanks your clock is brilliant, does more than I wanted

so that's a bonus.
