Thanks for the reply and the suggestion. Checked the Startup tab and there is no "MoneyAgent" entry. So I disabled the closest thing there -- the "mnyexpr" entry, which does affect Money -- but Windows didn't like that at all and I had to re-enable it. I'll keep poking around, but if you have another tip that might work, let me know. Maybe I should have stuck with XP SP2... <g> Best, Tom "Ramesh Srinivasan, MS-MVP" wrote: > Click Start, Run. Guest Tom Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Re: microsoft.net\primary interop assemblies folder opens upon sta Re: microsoft.net\primary interop assemblies folder opens upon sta Hi, Ramesh-- The file folder did not appear on startup -- but I got a message saying that because I'd made changes to the system configuration, Windows was running in diagnostic mode, and I should change the config from diagnostic to "Normal." I clicked OK, and the System Config window appeared. When I changed the config to "Normal" in the General tab it automatically re-enabled the Mnyexpr entry, and after a re-boot I was back where I started. So it seems System Config wants to have that entry enabled for some reason.
