Hi!

 

After installing XP SP3 on my XP SP2, when i tried running mstsc its giving

me error as " The prerelease version of Remote Desktop connection has

Expired.To download the full verison of Remoter Desktop Connection, goto

windows update or contact your system administrator."

 

Please let me know if there is any way out...

It will give you about 18,000 hits.

You'll basically have to remove SP3, uninstall the pre-release version

of RDP 6.1, and then re-install SP3 again. That's probably the

simplest pathway to resolution. XP SP3 has the final version of RDP

6.1 built in. Removing the pre-release of the RDP was a prerequisite

of installing SP3 so you don't get caught in this situation.
