Guest dpasek Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 How can I get more font size selections in the drop down menu for: Display Properties: Appearance: Font size. The drop down menu lists only "Normal" I am using "Windows Classic style" with Brick color scheme. I need some larger font size selections. The article: http://www.microsoft.com/enable/training/windowsxp/appearance.aspx mentions that this selection exists but I cannot find any info to suggest how to add additional selections to the list. The article generally reiterates the obvious and is not helpful about my question. I need larger fonts for accessibility reasons. Thanks

You can change any colors, font size/color, etc. of the scheme you choose via the Advanced button. -- Brian A. Guest dpasek Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Re: Font sizes in Desktop Properties: Creating new Color Schemes Re: Font sizes in Desktop Properties: Creating new Color Schemes I know about the 'Advanced button, but it is a pretty lame tool. There are only 18 items in the drop down menu for selecting desktop Items while HKCU\Control Panel\Colors, (where the data is actually stored), contains 32 keys. So, apparently I will have to play around with registry values directly using one of the existing color schemes as a template. Does anyone know where to find info on creating color schemes or desktop themes from scratch?
