Guest WmWWallick Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Have a script that has been in service for a year or so. XP Pro. Was SP2. The script saves a file name and later uses it. To save the name I select the file, go to file-rename and hit control c, which copies to the clipboard. After installing SP3, this no longer works. Nothing is copied to the clip.

Hard to say unless you post the script.

There was a post-SP3 hotfix released that addressed a wscript issue but not 100% sure it applies to you. Check out this KB article first: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/951978 If this is within the realm of your issue, you can try and grab the update from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=705e21de-f7dc-4d19-aafc-f22d3fca772f&displaylang=en It's worth a shot. Let me know how it goes. - Thee Chicago Wolf
