Ip help with port fowarding

hi i am trying to make a minecraft server and need to port forward but when i follow this video when I put my ip in my borwser I get the login thing but then it asks me for my username and password I dont know what these are? =( please help me find out what my username is and pass word

If you give us the make and model of your browser we can find the factory default passwords and user names for you. If you have changed it to something of your own, we cannot help you as our rules forbid it.

I have just found the internet box thingy on my dad pc see the cable comes from there into my pc its says scientific atlanta

From what I can find both the password and username is "root." if that does not work for you you will have to ask your dad if he changed it. As I said we cannot give you advice on how to bypass it.
