[TD=class: alt1, bgcolor: #E7EEEE]We have just bought a Panasonic Toughbook CF-52.

When it starts it shows a BT Openreach bios Splash Screen.

We are wanting to make some changes to the machine but have been hampered by a Bios Password that so far we have been unable to find out.

We have tried running:-

http://www.cgsecurity.org/

http://www.pccmos.com/

But unfortunately none of these worked.

Is there any one out there that can assist and help us in our quest and unlock the bios.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Jon

Considering a BIOS password can only have been installed by a previous owner, I suggest finding that owner. We cannot help in any other way regarding passwords.

This is because we have no way of knowing whether the equipment is genuinely yours or stolen. Sorry for that, but for others security we have to follow that rule.

I have installed Windows, now how do I install the curtains? 😄

There are some retailers that set a bios password prior to sale. Personally, I consider that an unscrupulous practice. However, if you did purchase it new you should go back, express your outrage and get the password. Otherwise Plastic Nev has said all that needs saying.
