Guest Peter Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 I had a look at the DPF folder through 'View Objects? and found 4 entries damaged. Twoi refer to Symantec which I do not use but may have done an online scan in the past; the others were fro Microsoft: Security/controls/sass and the other to do with the the update. Although I repaired them I wonder why they got damaged. I am pretty certain I have no viruses at the present. Then, can I delete the Symanted ones? Directly from the folder, or is it better through HijackThis? Thank you JB

If you need them again a website will just download them again. ju.c "Peter" <abc@here.com> wrote in message news:OMVnD19#IHA.6132@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > I had a look at the DPF folder through 'View Objects? and found 4 entries damaged.
