Guest PA Bear [MS MVP] Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Re: Mail not Inbox Asked/Answered in OE General. If you must make identical posts to multiple newsgroups, please cross-post one (1) message to all of them. Thank you. Guest Gary S. Terhune Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Re: Mail not Inbox To cross-post using Outlook Express 6: 1. Open the newsgroup that you most expect to be pertinent to your question. 2. Open a New Post. 3. In the very top Header, called "Newsgroups", where this current post says, "microsoft.windows.win98.gen_discussion", click on the word "Newsgroups". 4. In the dialogue that has opened, you'll see the group that you're in already listed on the right hand side, and all the groups you're subscribed to on the left. If you want to cross-post to a group on the same server that you don't happen to be subscribed to, use the little button at bottom to unhide the unsubscribed groups. Highlight the group(s) that you want to additionally cross-post to, then click Add button. Or, simply double click the group(s) on the left that you want to add, and they will magically appear on the right. -- Gary S.
