Problem re New Folder

Recommended Posts

Hello experts.

A little while ago, I accidentally created a 'New Folder' on the desktop

only. Now I can't delete it as it says it is a system file that Windows

needs. Clearly it doesn't as it doesn't appear via search anywhere else

(with hidden files displayed). How do I get rid of it?

###thanks

First R.click on the folder, select "open",if it has no contents & should be

deleted,open display,desktop,customize,select to run the desktop clean-up

utility, close out.If that doesnt work,R.click, select "move to my

documents",R.

click after,select "delete"...

Re: Problem re New Folder

Thanks for that Andrew, but no success I'm afraid.

I assume you meant 'send to my documents'. I did this and it was simply

copied there, staying on the desktop itself. 'Opene' allows me to open it

into a web page creator only (in my case it is Pagemill). There it shows it

is not empty but has URLs and errors and the like. Still puzzled...
