Guest bigjoe261 Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 The other day I tried to install a new printer, it was an HP Deskjet D4360. After it was installed and it told me to restart my computer I did, but when my computer was booting up again, it just stopped on the windows load screen with that blue bar thing moving by, it just stopped and wouldnt do anything. So than I was able to get on in safe mode and bring my computer back to a restore point and that helpped my computer. But now some webpages wont load on IE and others take a very long time for no reason, like google freezes my computer now and just random sites freeze me up. What could the problem be? I have a dell inspiron 5100 with windows xp with sp2.
Guest Rich Barry Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Re: HP Printer problems I would try removing the Printer Software and Drivers. Disconnect the Printer. Go to System Restore and restore to a point further back than the original restore pt. Check IE operation. If fine then reload the software for the Printer and connect when instructed.
