Delayed Write Failed

Hi

I am running Win XP Home (SP 3). After re-installing my HP PSC 750

driver, I am constantly receiving Delayed Write Error messages. I

cannot disable the write caching on the drive as it is "greyed" out on

the Policies tab of the drive properties. I have also tried through

the device manger, without success. Is there a way to desable this in

the registry? I have looked at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System

\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lanman

server\Parameters

which many sites recommend setting the value to 0. My question is

what "item" in this registry setting must be set to 0? Am I on the

right track to solve the problem? Do you have any other solutions?
