tismehi Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 quite a while ago i accepted a free trial of office 10 from microsoft. the trial has long since expired but i can't now instal the full version, which i have just been given. i have tried removing the files from programs but there are still problems. a friend of mine reckons there are regisrty entries which need to be deleted but i'm a bit reluctant to try this. KenB Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Try running CCleaner from here ( you want the free version ) Leave it on default settings. DO NOT use the registry cleaner option. It will clean out unused and unnecessary files. Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! tismehi Posted December 7, 2011 Author Posted December 7, 2011 i have ccleaner and run it every few days although it is probably not with the default settings. is this very important? Quote
