How to stop processor in Dual Core systems....

Hi,

i have Server it is Dual Core, means it contains 2 processors, i want stop

one processor , how to to this. i want run server in single processor only,

how?????

no its possible , one of my friend said that is possible to stop the

processor.. can u help me pls...

Re: How to stop processor in Dual Core systems....

 

Hello Ramana,

 

As said before, never heard about this. You can choose some processes in

the task manager and configure the process for Priority and Affinity, where

you can choose the processor. Maybe you will find a setting in the BIOS,

have a look there to disable one CORE.

 

But again, what is the reason for this? Please describe what you are trying

to achive.
