Guest Ed Mc Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 When I shut my 'puter down the screen told me I had updates to install. I had automatic download & install set,in security adviser. Each time since it asks do I wanna install. I WANT to see what they are. I have changed the settings to 'download but ask me when to install'. I used to get a screen with a "customize" option, which let me see the files. How do I get that screen back, or, alternatively, see the files waiting to be installed? Thank you. -- Semper Fi

With 11+ updates released on 12 Aug-08, it could take up 7-10 days before that happens (due to server demand). -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ Ed Mc wrote: > When I shut my 'puter down the screen told me I had updates to > install. Perhaps I'll even start checking the MS Knowledge Base, from time to time, just to educate myself. Thanks -- Semper Fi
