Guest rmth Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I have installed QuickTime 7.4.5 on Terminal Server 2003. Ran it in install mode, chose not to auto update. However, as tested by a user, when they went to Apple.com they were presented with the decision to update. I'm looking for a way to avoid a user being able to select "update". Any advice is appreciated. Thank you. -- rmth

My guess though is blocking access to the quicktime sites may be a good way to start. it's not autoupdate though if it only happens when they hit the website. you may also want to check out the apple forums on this as they would probably be a better resource than here as it's not really a TS problem. -- Jeff Pitsch Microsoft MVP - Terminal Services "rmth" <rmth@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7DC8CB8F-8E40-4C9C-92C9-DAC9EB2B659A@microsoft.com... >I have installed QuickTime 7.4.5 on Terminal Server 2003.
