Hi have XP home on one laptop and am trying to back it up onto another on

the same home wifi lan. It always fails. Am I missing something?

If you want someone to at least make a guess at your problem you will need

to tell us _how_ you are trying to back up (program and procedure), _what_

you are trying to back up (a disk image, data files, or something else),

what sort of _errors_ you are experiencing, what sort of LAN is involved,

what the destination computer is, and whether the systems involved are

actually capable of transporting and storing large enough files to manage a

successful backup.

And do you have file sharing turned on and can you browse the network?
