Guest Don J Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 My Win'XP instatalation disk no longer works. I get to the end of the disk and no changes have been made to the installation. The important thing I have noticed: 1. The term 'Deleting Folder ??" now takes place for about 10 minutes. This is new. This is followed by a few minutes of "Creating File", which is usual. Please help! Don J ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Read over the cited tech articles and then post back with a more detailed explanation of your problem. You must tell us whether you have an OEM system (Dell, HP, Acer, etc.) and what kind of installation disk you're using (Windows or a system recovery disk).
