Guest glamart Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 My XP computer contracted a trojan called Antivirus XP 2008 which deleted tabs on the Display Control Panel Applet. The tabs are "Desktop" and "Screensaver". The other tabs are OK. Any way to restore these tabs? Any ideas will be appreciated.

Guest glamart Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Re: Display.cpl Missing Tabs Thanks for the response. I have deleted most of the files related to the Trojan "Antivirus XP 2008", but it has apparently deleted reg entries for the desktop and screensaver tabs in my Display.cpl (and who knows what else?). Does your program restore these missing reg entries?
