I am running XP SP2 OS-NT. I set a desktop theme and when I log off, Windows

saves my settings. I log on and everything boots up OK with my custom theme

on the desk top. Then after a few seconds, the Gateway logo screen replaces

my custom theme. I have searche everywhere for the file to delete it without

any luck. How do I stop this annoyance?

Hi,

Troubleshooting Screen Saver Issues in XP

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_s.htm#ss

added info:

Check your settings here:

Look for BMP and JPG files in the Windows folder and the

Windows\Web\Wallpaper folder.

To modify the wallpaper for every new user added to the machine.. and has

the added benefit of showing up during log on:

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop. In the right pane change to path

to Wallpaper.

Change ScreenSaver Automatically in the Registry (Line 97)

Thanks, I found the bit map and will see if I can modify the registry without

screwing it up. Appreciate the help.
