Installed/copied OK, but there is years of data; have managed to open several photos and documents fine: save, copy, delete, etc.! BUT I can't 'preview' and they show up in some kind of code - 'gobbledegook' mixture of numbers & letters that make no sense to me! Not JPEG, doc, etc.!!

It will take me AGES to go through each document! Any way I can 'preview' whether it is photo or document, what it is? Comes up 'preview unavailable'! Main very old 'home computer' crashed; I did not get the opportunity to get all backed on portable hard drive, so found a 2 yr-old DVD back up disk! Heaps of info!! Will 'take for ever'!

Hi Clair, a little confusing but trying to work it out ha ha. I assume it is the data on the DVD that is giving a problem, if so do have any idea as to how or what backup program created the DVD? the DVD data may be in a compressed format so the program that created it will need to be installed first to de compress the data properly if it was created by such a backup program.

Nev.
