Guest inenewbl Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Hi all. I have a windows 2000 server with sp4. It is my sql production server used by my company. SQL service use up 1.3GB++ ram base on my check on task manager. Services.exe use up about 400+MB ram which i find it unusual. My users are complaining their applications which connect to my sql server is very slow. I suspect it is caused by high mem utilization as free memory available can go as low as 10MB. I have checked the internet and have installed debug diagnostic tool on my server but do not know how to use it to check if there is something wrong with services.exe. Pls advise how i can use this tool or if there are better alternatives. Thks in advance.
