increasing the speed of the internet

Dear Sir

 

I understand, increasing the speed of the internet can be done by allocating

a

 

buffer on the internal memory

 

for interupts that come from the modem or from the network card.Pls

explain

 

how it can be done ,is it efficiant? ( % improvement) how does it

influence other applications?

 

Do I need to backup the registry &system?

 

Can I do it for different users? for example,use 1 will be optimized for

the internet.

 

user 2 will be optimized for office and more .
