Backup Operators on Windows 2003 Domain Controller

Hi there

 

I hope someone working on our helpdesk in the IT department that need to

manage all the backups for regional offices. Some of the offices are small

and only have one Windows 2003 server that will act as a

DC/Fileserver/Exchange server. We use NTBackup for the smaller sites. I need

to give this user access to manage the backups without giving him too much

permission. He is a member of the account operators/backup operators and

server operators. If he tries to manage media in the removable storage area

in Device Manager we will just get an access denied.

 

Can someone please help so that I can grant this user enough permission to

manage all backups for the smaller offices that only have one server.
