Guest QuyNguyen Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Hi, My server 2003 Enterprise Edition 64 bit. When I connect USB hard disk to the server the hard disk can not be seen in computer even though that the device manager can detect this hard disk. There is nothing wrong with the disk because I can be seen on other laptop. I also update this USB hard disk driver from device manager but it is not able to show in computer windows. Thanks

Guest Erwin Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Re: can not detect UBS hard disk It might be the case that the service to control removable devices is stopped (don't know the exact name). Go to the service.msc and check. Erwin "Thee Chicago Wolf" wrote: > >My server 2003 Enterprise Edition 64 bit.
