Guest matt77 Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Re: How to schedule a reboot in Windows Server 2003 Hi, I have the same need as well. To answer your question of why I would want to schedule a restart....... I need to schedule a restart in order to finalize Windows updates after all users have disconnected from the server and all backups have completed. This will be useful in getting the updates completed without inconveniencing the network users by waiting for a reboot during server access hours.
