Guest charles Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Hope this is the right place to ask. Is there a way to get Task Scheduler to run overdue events, events scheduled to run when the machine was turned off, as soon as the machine is turned on again or as soon as possible? Windows XP Pro if that matters. I just can't find how. Thanks for any help.

You would have to script this sort of thing.

Thanks to you both. I already use another task scheduler/reminder program that works OK but I thought I would try to economize by using the built-in software. Pycron does look good though and I'll have to check it out.

Unfortunately it doesn't. It says two things: - How to retrieve static information about a task. - How to create a task using a script. Are you aware of a link that talks about running missed tasks?
